He is a frequent speaker at seminars involving design professionals, contractors and environmental issues. He specializes in the representation of architects, engineers and contractors in construction litigation. He currently represents product manufacturers, owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors in matters involving asbestos and toxic mold allegations. Further, he successfully defended an international engineering firm in a five-week jury trial relating to environmental issues stemming from contamination/remediation of a former gasoline station. He obtained a defense verdict and, following an appeal, was awarded all attorneys' fees and costs. In another lengthy trial, he represented a design professional in a matter involving a high-rise tower with alleged major mold issues, obtaining a very favorable verdict result. He has extensive experience defending serious personal injury cases involving wrongful death, brain damage, permanent disabilities and serious burns. He has an extremely successful record in jury trials involving engineers/architects, environmental matters, personal injury, products liability, premises liability and construction defect claims. He has successfully argued appeals before the California Appellate Court. Based upon his extensive trial record, he is a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Due to the strength of his reputation and practice, he has received a Martindale-Hubbell AV Peer Review Rating.
